Who can join the squad?
Registration is available for those entering 1st - 8th grade are eligible to join. No experience is needed to participate.
This is a recreation cheer program who cheers for the 3rd-8th grade Papillon Jr. Titan football teams.
Cheerleaders in grades 1st-3rd will cheer for the 3rd grade football team. Cheerleaders in grades in 4th-6th will cheer for their grade level football team.
A skill assessment will be done for cheerleaders in middle school grades to determine placement as we introduce more skills to prepare for high school cheerleading. This clinic will be in July. More info to come.
Squads will be determined prior to our first practice.

What does it cost to join the squad?

The registration fee goes toward essentials for the Papillion Days Parade, items for games, pink bows for Breast Cancer Awareness month, cheer showcase essentials, end of season gifts for the team & coaches, and the end of season party. Other essentials covered by the registration fee is insurance for our organization for the cheerleaders, our communication apps, and rental fees for practice locations.
Uniforms are an additional cost and include skirt, top, briefs, socks, bow and two sets of poms for $190.97 plus tax and shipping. Warm up jackets, shoes, and other accessories are also available to purchase for an additional cost and are optional. Cheerleaders get to keep their uniforms as they are custom made.
*Please note the uniform cost was for the basic package in 2025. We will update the final prices for the available packages when we share information about uniform fittings in May.

Uniform fittings are on May 12, 14, and 16th to place the order for uniforms to be ready for the start of the season. We will have time slots for for cheerleaders to sign up for a time. Payment for uniforms can be accepted by check or PayPal. Cheerleaders get to keep their uniform. We will use our current uniform style until 2028.

When and where are practices held?
Practice for grades 7th & 8th will begin on Tuesday, August 4th from 6:15-7:15.

Game times vary as early as 9am and as late as 5pm. Games are typically an hour and a half to 2 hours.

The most up-to-date information is sent via email or sent via GroupMe. Families will be added to the general GroupMe closer to the beginning of the season as well as a squad GroupMe once teams are formed. Schedules for games and practices will be added to GroupMe when available.

What is the timeline of the season?

-Papillion Days Parade: The parade is optional and takes place before our season officially begins. The parade is on Saturday, June 20th with 2 practice prior to the parade. Practices for the parade will be on Tuesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 18th from 6:15-7:00.
-Clinic for Middle School Grade Cheerleaders: We will be having a clinic in July for registered middle school cheerleaders for placement on the 7th & 8th grade squads. We will be introducing skills to these squads to prepare cheerleaders for high school cheer. More details to come.
-Practices: Practices will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning on Tuesday, August 4th and Thursday, August 6th
